Loop-IP7910 Ethernet Demarcation Device

The IP7910 is an Ethernet Demarcation Device (EDD) at the Customer Premises to enforce the Ethernet traffic policing policies, such as rate limiting, QoS, and VLAN tagging functions. With IP7910 EDD, the service provider could be assured that the traffic from customer into the network will be regulated. With optional 100M SFP FX or 10/100/1000 Combo Gigabit Ethernet (TX or FX/SX/LX) optical uplink interface, the EDD can be located far away from the central access device. In this way, the network can be protected from unintended overload or damage.
